Builders, pool builders and trade business owners: if you’ve got $50 a day for Facebook Ads, give that budget one clear job.
You do not need five offers, three different audiences and a campaign for every service your business provides.
You need a clear starting point.
- One service.
- One audience.
- One offer.
- One way to enquire.
Because when you try to promote everything at once, your message gets messy and your budget gets spread across too many things.
Let’s say you’re a builder.
You might do extensions, bathrooms, kitchens, decks and full home renovations. That does not mean every single service needs to appear in the same ad.
Pick one.
If you choose kitchen renovations, talk about the kitchen.
What is frustrating your customer about the one they have now? What do they want to change? What would a better kitchen mean for their everyday life?
Give that person something specific to recognise.
“I do building work” gives them very little to connect with.
A message about turning their tired, cramped kitchen into a space they actually enjoy using gives the conversation a direction.
The same applies if you build pools.
Someone looking for a plunge pool for a small backyard has a different problem from someone planning a large pool for a spacious property.
Their space is different. Their priorities are different. The questions they need answered are different.
Your creative should reflect that.
Then choose the area you actually want to work in.
Which local homeowners are you speaking to? Which service are you offering them? Does the message match what those people need?
Get clear on those things before you start throwing more ads into the mix.
And yes, you can still have different creatives.
When I say six creatives, I mean six ads supporting the same core offer and promise.
You can show the work from different angles. Explain the process. Answer a common question. Talk through a concern your customer might have.
But keep bringing it back to the same service, the same customer and the same next step.
That is the approach I would take with a $50 daily budget.
One focused campaign, with the creative doing the work of explaining why that particular customer should care.
